Revit Architecture Fundamentals Training Course

Step into the realm of architectural creativity with the Autodesk Revit Fundamentals for Architecture course. Over three immersive days, discover the art of constructing a full 3D architectural project model, embracing walls, doors, windows, and more. Delve into the intricacies of the user interface, mastering basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools that form the foundation of architectural prowess.

The final leg of the journey focuses on translating your vision into precise construction documents. Embrace the power of Revit as we unravel its potential together—where innovation meets architectural finesse.

Aspiring BIM professionals will benefit from this comprehensive introduction to Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Revit. The course begins with mastering navigation of the Revit interface, selecting templates, and linking CAD and Revit files. Participants will learn to create essential datum elements such as levels and grids, and manage views using the Project Browser.

Key skills include understanding Revit families and components, and using basic sketching and modifying tools. The curriculum also covers constructing a 3D building model, integrating elements like columns, walls, windows, and doors, and adding floors, ceilings, roofs, and stairs. Finally, students will set up plotting sheets and create detailed drawings, complete with text, dimensions, tags, and schedules.

  • Excellent course, will definitely be coming back for more. The food provided was great, and Andy was a great teacher with lots of different industry knowledge.

  • I have allergies to seeds, cashew nuts and pistachio nuts. Lunch was made for us and mine was kept separate and wrapped in clingfilm. It is what should be done but it is surprising how many places don't take allergies as seriously as they should do. So I want to say thank you for the way it was handled. I don't know if this is the right place for that but I did also mention it to the staff at Quadrasol when I was there. The only reason I didn't put the equipment as very good was because the laptop I was using wouldn't charge up so I moved to another. The laptop I move to was absolutely fine. I found the whole course very engaging and informative. The room we were in was air conditioned which was good as it was a very hot few days. The course leader/tutor was very clear in his instructions and explanations. I have a better understanding of how the software works and so I am better placed to use it.

  • Overall it was a worthwhile course to refresh and improve my Revit knowledge somewhat. More appropriate literature to our line of work would have been more beneficial rather than drawing a hotel building.
