This Revit course teaches participants to create in-place conceptual mass elements and convert massing studies into detailed building components. Key aspects include using rooms and areas for comprehensive space planning and analysis.
The curriculum also covers the creation of perspectives, sketches, exploded views, and solar studies. Participants will learn rendering techniques that incorporate materials, lighting, and enhancements like people and plants, resulting in high-quality visual outputs for architectural projects.
Participants must meet the following requirements before enrolling:
- For learners studying from home, access to Revit 2024.0 is mandatory to ensure compatibility with our course materials. At our Training Centre, we provide access to this software. Please be aware that Autodesk may update the software, which could impact compatibility with the guides and files used in this course. Please note that earlier versions of Revit, such as 2023, may not be compatible with the course content.
- A solid understanding of the fundamentals of Autodesk Revit, as outlined in the Autodesk Revit Fundamentals for Architecture course. This includes creating various objects like walls and roofs, copying/moving objects, and working with views.
- Collaboration Tools, BIM Management, and Site Planning and Design are addressed in separate, more advanced guides.
These prerequisites are established to guarantee that all participants are adequately prepared and can fully benefit from the advanced features taught in the course.
