Inventor CAM Essentials

This comprehensive training course offers a wide-ranging guide to the fundamentals of CAM concepts in the Inventor CAM environment. As you progress, you will gain a strong understanding of many machining strategies in order for you to successfully streamline your CNC workflow.

Objectives

This course will help you successfully build a solid foundation of CAM concepts in order to gain an understanding of the many strategies, workflows and benefits of using CAM. The course covers 2D Milling, 3D Milling, 3+2 milling, Turning and Simulation as well as post-processing for output to a CNC machine.

Pre-requisites

No prior experience required. A basic working knowledge of Inventor would be advantageous, but this is not essential.

  • Good course - would have liked to see a more specific examples between (eg) Solidworks does this, this is how you do it in Inventor. as the course work is very basic and we are "Experienced CAD Users". on the whole, course delivery was tailored a little and very well delivered.
