This course will empower you with AutoCAD P&ID, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Autodesk Navisworks skills for a full-scale plant design project. This course offers an introduction to AutoCAD Plant 3D, providing participants with essential knowledge and skills to effectively use AutoCAD P&ID and Navisworks for plant design projects. Key aspects of the course include setting up and administering a Plant project, ensuring participants can manage and coordinate complex plant design tasks efficiently.
This training is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their capabilities in managing integrated plant design environments using AutoCAD’s specialised tools.
To ensure a successful learning experience in this course, participants are expected to meet the following criteria:
- For learners studying from home, access to AutoCAD version 2021.0 is key, however we also accept any version above 2018 to ensure compatibility with our course materials. At our Training Centre, we provide access to this software. Please be aware that Autodesk may update the software, which could impact compatibility with the guides and files used in this course. Please note that earlier versions of AutoCAD, such as 2024, may not be compatible with the course content.
- A good working knowledge of AutoCAD is recommended, ideally with a minimum of 80 hours of hands-on experience using the software. This level of familiarity will help participants fully engage with the course content.
These prerequisites are designed to ensure participants are well-prepared and can effectively navigate the complexities of the course material.
