What are Autodesk Flex Tokens?
Autodesk Flex Tokens offer a flexible and cost-effective option for occasional users who require temporary access to Autodesk software. This model allows users to purchase time-based access, ideal for:

While FlexTokens are great for new users or hobbyists, they are less suitable for full-time professionals or regular users of Autodesk software. For more consistent access and enhanced value, consider our annual or three year subscription plans.
How does Autodesk Flex work?
Autodesk Flex Tokens are consumed on a per-product, per-day basis. Each Flex token is consumed within each software at its own daily rate. To assist in understanding the daily token requirements, here is an example of the most popular products on Flex.

If you are familiar with using Cloud Credits, you’ll find that Flex Tokens function as the new pay-as-you-go system for Autodesk’s software licenses.

Once you have purchased Flex Tokens, log in to your Autodesk Account to allocate each order to the correct team. If you need to transfer your Flex order to a different team, the entire remaining balance of tokens must be transferred as a whole.

Similar to a subscription, purchasing Flex Tokens automatically assigns them to a team in the following manner: If the buyer is not an administrator for any team, a new team is automatically established for the subscription. If the buyer is an administrator for only one team, the subscription is allocated to that specific team.

Flex Tokens are deducted from your balance when you use individual software programs like AutoCAD or Revit. Please note that Flex Tokens cannot be used for entire collections; however, they are applicable to individual software within those collections.

From the date of purchase, you have one year to utilise your Flex Tokens. Flex operates on a pay-as-you-go basis, meaning tokens do not carry over once the year ends. You will receive advance notification regarding the expiration of your Flex Tokens.

When a user launches and logs into an Autodesk product covered by Flex, they incur a daily fee for each product, billed once every 24 hours. There are no additional charges for using multiple versions or accessing the product multiple times within that 24-hour window.
