This course is designed to introduce the core functionalities of the AutoCAD software, focusing on the workspace and user interface, basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools.
Participants will learn how to organise drawing objects on layers, use reusable symbols (blocks), prepare layouts for plotting, and enhance drawings with text, hatching, and dimensions, equipping them with the necessary skills to produce well-organised and professional designs.
Participants must meet the following requirements before enrolling:
- For learners studying from home, access to AutoCAD version 2024 or 2025 is mandatory to ensure compatibility with our course materials. At our Training Centre, we provide access to this software. Please be aware that Autodesk may update the software, which could impact compatibility with the guides and files used in this course. Please note that earlier versions of AutoCAD may not be compatible with the course content.
- Completion of the AutoCAD Fundamentals (Essentials & Beyond the Basics) course or equivalent experience using the AutoCAD software.
These prerequisites are established to guarantee that all participants are adequately prepared and can fully benefit from the advanced features taught in the course.
